The certification course trains you on exactly how to use the HOA Document Package and The Rex Report, how to explain them to clients, and how to apply them at every stage of a transaction. Ordering access is unlocked after certification so every agent using these tools knows how to use them correctly and confidently. If your entire brokerage is signed up for the program then you don't need the certification to access the docs and rex report.  

The HOA Sales Specialist certification is a self-paced online course with interactive video modules and quizzes covering HOA structures, disclosure requirements, document retrieval, how to read and present The Rex Report, buyer and seller workflows, overcoming buyer and seller HOA objections , and how to protect your clients in HOA-impacted transactions. Upon completion you earn the HOA Sales Specialist (HSS) designation. 

 

Certified members unlock ordering access to:

• HOA Document Package — retrieved and reviewed by the AO team
• The Rex Report — the full HOA story for your buyers, with financials, insurance, legal standing, and policy data
• At Closing-  AO can obtain the HOA estoppel directly and pass it along to your closer plus offer an easy to understand recap of the estoppel 

Access is through the AO ordering portal. Your certification ensures you're trained on every tool before you order it.

Ordering access is reserved for those who have completed the certification or firms and brokerages that have signed up. This ensure  every agent using our tools has the training to apply them correctly — which protects you, your clients, and the integrity of every transaction. 

This is a self paced course of short topic specific videos that can be completed in 2-3 hours.

The HSS designation is the only national certification that identifies real estate professionals who are trained and qualified in HOA transactions. It signals to clients, brokerages, and colleagues that you know this space better than anyone else in the room — and that you have the tools and expertise to back it up.

You'll receive a welcome email with your login credentials for the HOA Expert Academy, where your certification course is hosted. Complete the course at your own pace, pass the final assessment, earn your HSS designation, and your ordering access activates automatically. 

 

Once certified, you can add the At Closing Add-On to any transaction. AO coordinates directly with your title company to obtain the HOA estoppel on your behalf — regardless of which title company you're using. You don't lift a finger.
